The Tesco Cheese Challenge
“We are delighted to have won this prestigious award, especially having only entered the Tesco Cheese Challenge for the very first time this year.
We have been working on our rind on project for over 18 months and the Traditional Double Gloucester and Red Leicester were both finalists, with the Rind on Traditional Double Gloucester taking the prize of overall champion, with its buttery and savoury complex flavour that clearly made an impression on the Judges.
It is testament to Belton Farm’s ongoing commitment to producing products of the highest quality, and we would like to thank Tesco for recognising this. We are obviously looking forward to working with the Tesco team to launch the Rind on Traditional Double Gloucester in the near future.” |
